# ezgh obs contact-points reconfirm

{/* Generated by ezgh-cli's internal/tools/clidocs from the ezgh command tree. Don't edit: change the command's help in ezgh-cli and regenerate. */}

```sh
ezgh obs contact-points reconfirm <contact-point> <address>
```

Send one of an email contact point's addresses a new confirmation email. It's the only way an address that unsubscribed is asked again: saving the contact point never re-asks one (a pending address is re-sent its confirmation by saving, at most once an hour). An address is asked this way at most once a week: if a confirmation went to it in the last 7 days, ezgh says when you can ask again (exit 1). An address that's already confirmed needs nothing. The address receives alerts once it confirms.

Part of [`ezgh obs contact-points`](/cli/reference/obs-contact-points).

## Examples

```sh
ezgh obs contact-points reconfirm "Payments team" oncall@acme.com
```

This command also takes the [global flags](/cli/reference#global-flags).
