# ezgh obs contact-points test

ezgh obs contact-points test <contact-point> [--wait] [flags]
```

Send a test notification to a contact point, through the same delivery path as alerts (with a sample firing alert, alertname EZGHTest). It's queued at once, and its attempts appear in the contact point's delivery log. `--wait` waits up to 70 seconds for the result: ok, or failed with the HTTP status or error (exit 1). An email contact point only sends to confirmed addresses.
