# ezgh obs datasets transforms get

{/* Generated by ezgh-cli's internal/tools/clidocs from the ezgh command tree. Don't edit: change the command's help in ezgh-cli and regenerate. */}

```sh
ezgh obs datasets transforms get <dataset>
```

Show a dataset's transform rules: whether they run, the version, and each signal's OTTL statements and drop conditions under their paths (logs.statements.0, logs.drop.1), as obs-api's errors and the dry run name them. A dataset that never had rules stores records as they arrive (version 0). -o json prints the document with its version: save it to a file, edit it, try it with `ezgh obs datasets transforms test` and set it with `ezgh obs datasets transforms set -f`.

Part of [`ezgh obs datasets transforms`](/cli/reference/obs-datasets-transforms).

## Examples

```sh
ezgh obs datasets transforms get production
ezgh obs datasets transforms get production -o json > rules.json
```

## Flags

This command also takes the [global flags](/cli/reference#global-flags).
