# ezgh private-ca certificate forget-key

{/* Generated by ezgh-cli's internal/tools/clidocs from the ezgh command tree. Don't edit: change the command's help in ezgh-cli and regenerate. */}

```sh
ezgh private-ca certificate forget-key <id> [flags]
```

Forget a certificate's key: EZGH destroys the key it generated, so it can't be exported again. Copies already exported keep working, and the certificate stays valid. It can't be undone. It asks first on a terminal; `--yes` confirms otherwise.

Part of [`ezgh private-ca certificate`](/cli/reference/private-ca-certificate).

## Flags

| Flag | Type | Default | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `-y`, `--yes` | boolean |  | don't ask for confirmation |

This command also takes the [global flags](/cli/reference#global-flags).
