# ezgh queues change-visibility

{/* Generated by ezgh-cli's internal/tools/clidocs from the ezgh command tree. Don't edit: change the command's help in ezgh-cli and regenerate. */}

```sh
ezgh queues change-visibility <receipt-handle> <timeout>
```

Change how long a received message stays hidden from other receivers, counted from now (0 to 12h; seconds or a duration: 90, 5m). 0 releases it: it can be received again at once. A message is in flight at most 12 hours after its receive. Receipt handles are their own credential: no login is needed or sent.

Part of [`ezgh queues`](/cli/reference/queues).

## Examples

```sh
ezgh queues change-visibility <handle> 5m
ezgh queues change-visibility <handle> 0
```

## Flags

This command also takes the [global flags](/cli/reference#global-flags).
