# ezgh queues purge

{/* Generated by ezgh-cli's internal/tools/clidocs from the ezgh command tree. Don't edit: change the command's help in ezgh-cli and regenerate. */}

```sh
ezgh queues purge <queue> [--yes] [flags]
```

Delete every message sent to a queue before now, in flight or not; messages sent afterwards stay. The deletion runs in the background. A queue can be purged once a minute. It asks first on a terminal; `--yes` confirms otherwise.

Part of [`ezgh queues`](/cli/reference/queues).

## Flags

| Flag | Type | Default | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `-y`, `--yes` | boolean |  | don't ask for confirmation |

This command also takes the [global flags](/cli/reference#global-flags).
