# ezgh secrets destroy-version

{/* Generated by ezgh-cli's internal/tools/clidocs from the ezgh command tree. Don't edit: change the command's help in ezgh-cli and regenerate. */}

```sh
ezgh secrets destroy-version <name> <N> [flags]
```

Destroy version N: its values are erased and can't be read again, by anyone. The version's record stays, as destroyed. It asks first on a terminal; `--yes` confirms otherwise.

Part of [`ezgh secrets`](/cli/reference/secrets).

## Flags

| Flag | Type | Default | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `-y`, `--yes` | boolean |  | don't ask for confirmation |

This command also takes the [global flags](/cli/reference#global-flags).
