# ezgh sso assignments add

{/* Generated by ezgh-cli's internal/tools/clidocs from the ezgh command tree. Don't edit: change the command's help in ezgh-cli and regenerate. */}

```sh
ezgh sso assignments add <application> [--user u]… [--group g]… [flags]
```

Assign users or groups to an application, leaving the others alone. Assigning someone already assigned, or unassigning someone who isn't, changes nothing. Someone unassigned is refused at their next sign-in, token refresh, userinfo or introspection request, and a refresh by them revokes their grant.

Part of [`ezgh sso assignments`](/cli/reference/sso-assignments).

## Examples

```sh
ezgh sso assignments add wiki --group engineering --user ada@acme.com
```

## Flags

| Flag | Type | Default | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `--group` | strings, comma-separated or repeated |  | a directory group, by ID, slug or name (repeat, or comma-separate) |
| `--user` | strings, comma-separated or repeated |  | a directory user, by ID, email or slug (repeat, or comma-separate) |

This command also takes the [global flags](/cli/reference#global-flags).
