# ezgh sso assignments set

{/* Generated by ezgh-cli's internal/tools/clidocs from the ezgh command tree. Don't edit: change the command's help in ezgh-cli and regenerate. */}

```sh
ezgh sso assignments set <application> [--user u]… [--group g]… [--none] [flags]
```

Replace an application's assignments with exactly the users and groups given (`--none` for nobody). The list is sent with the ETag ezgh read: if someone changed it in between, nothing is changed and ezgh says so; run it again. An application has at most 1,000 assignments.

Part of [`ezgh sso assignments`](/cli/reference/sso-assignments).

## Examples

```sh
ezgh sso assignments set wiki --group engineering --group support
```

## Flags

| Flag | Type | Default | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `--group` | strings, comma-separated or repeated |  | a directory group, by ID, slug or name (repeat, or comma-separate) |
| `--none` | boolean |  | unassign everyone |
| `--user` | strings, comma-separated or repeated |  | a directory user, by ID, email or slug (repeat, or comma-separate) |

This command also takes the [global flags](/cli/reference#global-flags).
