# ezgh sso users reset-factors

{/* Generated by ezgh-cli's internal/tools/clidocs from the ezgh command tree. Don't edit: change the command's help in ezgh-cli and regenerate. */}

```sh
ezgh sso users reset-factors <user> [flags]
```

Reset an active hosted user's factors: their password, TOTP and passkeys are removed, their sessions and tokens end, and they get an email with a link (single use, valid for 24 hours) to set new ones. This is how someone who lost their factors gets back in. It asks first on a terminal; `--yes` confirms otherwise.

Part of [`ezgh sso users`](/cli/reference/sso-users).

## Flags

| Flag | Type | Default | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `-y`, `--yes` | boolean |  | don't ask for confirmation |

This command also takes the [global flags](/cli/reference#global-flags).
