# ezgh workflows runs cancel

{/* Generated by ezgh-cli's internal/tools/clidocs from the ezgh command tree. Don't edit: change the command's help in ezgh-cli and regenerate. */}

```sh
ezgh workflows runs cancel <run> [--grace-period 5m] [flags]
```

Cancel a run: it's cancelling until its code stops, at most `--grace-period` (5m by default, up to 1h), then cancelled. Waiting callbacks are cancelled at once. A cancelled run can't be resumed. It asks first on a terminal; `--yes` confirms otherwise.

Part of [`ezgh workflows runs`](/cli/reference/workflows-runs).

## Flags

| Flag | Type | Default | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `--grace-period` | duration | `5m0s` | how long the run's code has to stop, up to 1h |
| `-y`, `--yes` | boolean |  | don't ask for confirmation |

This command also takes the [global flags](/cli/reference#global-flags).
