`PUT /v1/organizations/{orgId}/projects/{projectId}/obs/datasets/{datasetId}/transforms`

Replaces the whole document; the version goes up by one. Empty sections aren't stored. If-Match is optional. 400 invalid_request lists every problem at its dotted path (logs.statements.3), with OTTL's message. 409 dataset_deleting. 412 precondition_failed: If-Match doesn't name the current ETag. 404 while transform rules aren't offered yet. The Trails event records enabled, the version and per-signal counts, not the statements.

## Authentication

Requires one of the following:

- `apiKey`, http, header `Authorization`
- `oauth`, http, header `Authorization`
- `sessionCookie`, apiKey, in cookie

## Path parameters

- `UpdateDatasetTransforms.path.orgId` (string, required)
  - format `uuid`
- `UpdateDatasetTransforms.path.projectId` (string, required)
  - format `uuid`
- `UpdateDatasetTransforms.path.datasetId` (string, required)
  - format `uuid`

## Header parameters

- `UpdateDatasetTransforms.header.Idempotency-Key` (string, optional) — Makes a retry safe: the same key and request get the stored response.
  - pattern `^[\x21-\x7e]{1,200}$`
- `UpdateDatasetTransforms.header.If-Match` (string, optional) — *, or ETags from a GET, comma-separated. Weak tags never match.

_Required._

- `UpdateDatasetTransforms.enabled` (boolean, required)
- `UpdateDatasetTransforms.logs` (object, optional)
  - `UpdateDatasetTransforms.logs.drop` (array<string>, optional) — OTTL conditions, checked after the statements; an element is removed when any condition of its context holds.
    - minLength 1; maxLength 4096
  - `UpdateDatasetTransforms.logs.statements` (array<string>, optional) — OTTL statements, run in order; each one's context is inferred from its paths (log., span., spanevent., metric., datapoint., resource., scope.).
    - minLength 1; maxLength 4096
- `UpdateDatasetTransforms.metrics` (object, optional)
  - `UpdateDatasetTransforms.metrics.drop` (array<string>, optional) — OTTL conditions, checked after the statements; an element is removed when any condition of its context holds.

- `UpdateDatasetTransforms.traces` (object, optional)
  - `UpdateDatasetTransforms.traces.drop` (array<string>, optional) — OTTL conditions, checked after the statements; an element is removed when any condition of its context holds.
    - minLength 1; maxLength 4096
  - `UpdateDatasetTransforms.traces.statements` (array<string>, optional) — OTTL statements, run in order; each one's context is inferred from its paths (log., span., spanevent., metric., datapoint., resource., scope.).
