# View quotas

Listing quotas needs the `quotas.quotas.list` permission, and viewing one quota needs
`quotas.quotas.get`. Both are in `ReadOnlyAccess` and `AdministratorAccess`.

Usage is read live. When usage can't be read, it shows as unavailable, never as 0.

### Console

Open **Service quotas**. The list is grouped by service and shows each quota's **Quota**,
**Kind**, **Scope**, **Value** and **Usage**. Quotas at 80% or more of their value are
highlighted.

- Filter with **Search quotas**, **Service** and **Region**.
- Pick a project in **Project** to see that project's values and usage.
- For a per-project quota, **Usage** shows the project closest to its value.

Click a quota to see its details: service, kind, scope, value, unit, window (rate quotas),
burst capacity (rate quotas), billing period (usage quotas) and quota ID. **Usage by project**
lists each project's value and usage.
### CLI

List every quota with its value and usage:

ezgh quotas list
```

| Flag | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `--service <namespace>` | Only one service's quotas, such as `ocr` |
| `--scope <scope>` | Only quotas with this scope: `organization` or `project` |
| `--scope-key <project>` | Values and usage for one project, by ID, slug or name |
| `--region <region>` | Values and usage in one region, for per-region quotas |

Show one quota, with each project's value and usage:

ezgh quotas get ocr.processors.count
ezgh quotas get ocr.processors.count --scope-key my-project
```

Add `-o json` or `-o yaml` for machine-readable output.
### API

[ListQuotas](/quotas-api/ListQuotas/) returns every quota, sorted by ID:

```

[GetQuota](/quotas-api/GetQuota/) returns one quota, with a row per project in
`scopes`:

```

Add `scopeKey=<project ID>` to either request for one project's value and usage.
