ezgh obs <command>Observability keeps the logs, traces and metrics your services send with OpenTelemetry (and metrics from Prometheus remote write), and searches and queries them. Services send OTLP (gRPC or HTTP) to https://obs-ingest.<domain> with a project ingest key (ezgh ingest-keys create); nothing in the CLI sends telemetry.
A dataset is one environment of a project. Each record goes to the dataset for its resource attribute ezgh.metadata.environment, and the first record from a new environment creates that dataset. A dataset keeps data for its retention class (ezgh obs retention-classes list). Datasets are in a project: --project, EZGH_PROJECT or the profile’s.
