ezgh update [--version v] [--check] [--auto on|off] [flags]Update ezgh to the latest release, the way the installer does: the release for this system from get.ezghcloud.com, checked against the release’s checksums, replacing this ezgh in one step. The new version must start and report its version before it’s installed.
At most once a day, a command run in a terminal also checks for a new version and, after its output, says when one is available. It doesn’t check in CI (when CI is set), when standard error isn’t a terminal, or when EZGH_NO_UPDATE_NOTIFIER is set. With --auto on, it installs the new version then instead.
Whether updates are automatic, and when ezgh last checked, are kept in update.json in the configuration directory.
Examples
ezgh update # install the latest version
ezgh update --check # say whether there's a newer version
ezgh update --version 0.1.0 # install this version, older or newer
